Newsletter December
Dear members,
The year 2025 has come to an end, and what a wonderful month December was! We hope you all enjoyed a great Christmas break, with lovely holidays and a smashing New Year’s celebration. This month we had several fun activities. In this newsletter, we’ll look back on all of them and discuss what January has in store. So grab a drink and some snacks, and join us in reflecting on a beautiful month.
December was a month full of activities. We kicked off the month with a sporty event: taking over the ice rink. And what a blast it was, even though some of us still found the ice a bit intimidating. After a few skating lessons from the more experienced members of the group, we can now confidently say that the entire bunch feels right at home on the ice.
The following day, we headed into the brewery with our members for an incredibly fun pub lecture by Jan Bos. Jan took us into the world of film and entrepreneurship. He talked about his career and all the amazing projects he has been able to work on over the years. On top of that, we also received some inside information about which stars are truly great to work with—and which ones absolutely are not.
The lecture was a great success as well. Alfred Attema shared all the ups and downs of CCI, an international candy and confectionery company. Among other things, he talked about how his company burned down and how he rebuilt everything from scratch. To top it all off, he ended with a bag of candy for everyone—certainly not a bad way to wrap things up.
To help everyone ease into the new year, we have a relatively calm month ahead. On January 26th, we will hold the General Members Meeting, where we will update you on how things are going within the association so far. All committees will also share updates on their progress and activities. Drinks will be available during this cozy and informal evening, so be sure to mark it in your calendar!
After that, of course, we will have our monthly social drink at the end of the month. On Thursday, January 29th, we would like to welcome you to the Ninth Circle to ring in the new year together with lots of fun and good vibes. See you then!
