Newsletter June
Dear member,
June flew by! This month was filled with sunny days, afternoons on the terrace, and unforgettable activities. In this newsletter, we look back on a successful month full of great memories and our final activities of the academic year.
We also take a look ahead to July. The coming month will be all about wrapping up an incredible year together. So grab your favourite snack, sit back, and enjoy as we look back on June and look ahead to a wonderful final month.
In June, both the Activities Committee and the Hitchhiking Committee put in a tremendous amount of effort to organise two fantastic events.
We kicked off the month with an afternoon of boating. Although the weather wasn't on our side, it turned out to be an unforgettable day. With a great playlist, warm jackets, umbrellas, and plenty of laughter, we made the very best of it!
Later in the month, thanks to the Hitchhiking Committee, we enjoyed an English-themed pool night. Throughout the year, our members have proven just how competitive they can be, and this event was no exception. While some people seemed to hit the table more often than the balls, everyone had a great laugh, enjoyed themselves, and made it another successful activity.
Of course, our monthly Thursday drinks (DoMiBo) couldn't be missed. On a beautiful summer's day, we gathered at the food court for drinks and good company. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday afternoon! Before we knew it, it was already time for the very last drinks of the year, this time with the theme "WHITE LIES." Once again, the turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was amazing, and we truly showed that HMV Actis knows how to throw a party.
On June 15, it was time for another General Members' Meeting (GMM). During the meeting, the current board reflected on the past year and shared several important updates. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the announcement of the candidate 36th Board of HMV Actis.
We are proud to introduce the candidate board:

Excited! That's probably the best word to describe how we feel as the candidate board. We can't wait to dedicate ourselves to the best association there is!
If you've run into us over the past few weeks, you've probably already noticed—we're more than ready. Every time we talk about next year, our excitement only grows. From unforgettable socials and fun activities to everything in between, we can't wait to make it an incredible year together with all of you.
A huge thank you to the current board for preparing us so well for everything that's ahead. And, of course, thank you to our amazing members, because without you, Actis simply wouldn't be Actis.

Now that we've caught up on everything that happened in June, it's time to look ahead.
Unfortunately, July marks our final active members' event of the year: the distribution of the yearbooks. Our Editorial Committee has worked incredibly hard throughout the year to create a beautiful yearbook, and they're looking forward to finally sharing it with everyone.
We'd also like to wish you all the very best with the final stretch of the academic year. Keep going you've got this! Summer break is just around the corner.
