Newsletter November
The month of November has already come to an end, and what a fun and cozy month it has been. This month we enjoyed a super fun Active Members Weekend, and we truly loved every moment of it! In this newsletter, we look back on all these wonderful moments. So grab a drink and some snacks, and look back with us on a beautiful month.
This past month, our active members once again found themselves stranded in Bakkeveen for the best weekend of the year: the Active Members Weekend (ALW). It was a legendary weekend filled with pan-adtjes, hotdog juice shots, and loads of karaoke. On Friday, the members arrived for an evening full of fun. Saturday started with a hungover breakfast and a pub crawl inside the accommodation. Many members needed a power nap afterward, but our very own Jort Onclin entertained the rest with an afternoon of karaoke. All in all, a fantastic weekend to look back on! We’re already looking forward to the next getaway!
We kicked things off with the best activity of the year: the Active Members Weekend. We enjoyed having you there so much, and we hope you had an amazing weekend. The weekend was all over the place from constant room switching to missing children (luckily, Deniez was found again). IT WAS WONDERFUL! We can’t wait to do more fun activities with you, because wow, you really know how to create a party.
Not long after, we had the après-ski social, and you truly went all out with the outfits. Once again, you showed that HMV Actis really knows how to throw a party. Definitely a night to remember. And the photos don’t lie you all clearly had an amazing time. The atmosphere was great, and you were fantastic.
Here’s to more socials, fun activities, and a whole lot of craziness.
In December, we of course have a lot of fun activities planned again. We kick off the month with a sporty activity: ice skating at Kardinge. On behalf of the Activities Committee: “Our activities committee kicks off this year with an icy but super fun first activity: ice skating! Put on your warmest gloves and glide into the winter season with us. It will be a few hours full of fun, laughter, and maybe even a few charming falls. Whether you’re an experienced skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time, everyone is welcome.”
After that, we have a cozy pub lecture on December 11 in De Brouwerij! And to make things even better, the LezEx committee has prepared a wonderful lecture in Buckshot. If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to do so via the website!
We also have another super fun social drink planned for December 18. We hope to see you there we’re excited already! Thanks for reading.
